Baby Khayden
Last month I did a photo shoot for Kym, she was the fun maternity/high fashion shoot that I shared here on my blog back in February. She was pleasantly surprised with a baby girl (she was not completely sure if she was having a boy or a girl prior to giving birth), and she named her Khayden. Khayden is such a beautiful baby, and I captured some very sweet photos of her. I was happy to capture loving big sister/baby sister photos as well : ) These photos reminded me of why I love photography. Creating memories, and evoking emotions is so rewarding, and capturing the precious tender and innocent memories of newborns is even more rewarding. Photos of mom and baby soon to come...

Baby Alayna
Baby Alayna is here! My good friend Amber and her husband Wes, and son Joshua welcomed baby Alayna on March 3, 2011. Amber anxiously waited to deliver after carrying her baby for almost 2 weeks past her due date. Now she is finally here, and she is such a beautiful baby, well worth the wait. This was the first newborn shoot that I did, and it is one of my favorites. Although, I never realized how challenging it was to take photos of a newborn, but it was worth the challenge : ) I even got to use my new antique baby carriage. This baby carriage dates back from 1910 and it is such a cool photography prop, and it adds such interest to the photo. I look forward to shooting baby Alayna more in the future. More photos of the entire family soon to come.

Shanice & Cordell's Wedding
I had an awesome experience shooting Shanice and Cordell's wedding. They are a new couple at our church, and they fit in perfectly with their friendly and kind personalities. Baby Jayden & Family
Back in January I took photos of my cute nephew Jayden, along with his dad Jonathan (my younger brother), and his girlfriend Andrea. We just did a few candid's in my parents backyard while I was there visiting. It has been such an awesome experience to share the gift of photography with family. And Jayden is such a cute model! He was 15 months at that time.
